Brown-Sugar Bacon

Here is a tasty way to serve bacon that adds a bit of sweetness to your breakfast.  It’s also super-fast and easy to make, as long as you don’t try to mold it into bowls.

Ingredients:

  1. 8 oz. Bacon
  2. ¾ c. Brown Sugar

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°image
  2. Remove the bacon from its package and blot off the extra grease between two paper towels.image
  3. Place the brown sugar in a bowl and roll the bacon strips in the brown sugar.image
  4. At this point, we tried to turn the bacon into bowls, with no real understanding of how bacon bowls are made. It didn’t work.  However, tearing the bacon in half and lying it upside-down on a muffin tin will get rid of extra grease, so if you prefer less greasy bacon this is a good way to prepare it.
  5. Bake the bacon for 10-15 minutes or until your smoke detector goes off. Be very careful when removing the pan from the oven, as hot grease can cause serious burns.  Allow the bacon to cool before eating.image

Enjoy!
